Run supports several groups
Held on the Saturday of Water Ski Days weekend, the Circle of Life 5-kilometer and 10-kilometer half marathon and kids fun run drew record participation and sponsorship again this year.
The Rotary Club of Lake City says close to $17,000 raised by the event will be donated back to the Lake City community.
This year, the proceeds will be split among three community efforts. Half of the proceeds stay with the Lake City Rotary Club to support incoming and outgoing exchange students for the Rotary Club, and community of Lake City.
