Schneider among officers to be honored at Rochester memorial

A groundbreaking ceremony for the Law Enforcement Memorial of Southeast Minnesota took place at Soldiers Field Memorial Park in Rochester on June 24.
The memorial honors the 33 fallen officers from law enforcment agencie operating in Minnesota Sheriff’s Association’s Sixth District.
The honorees include Lake City Police Officer Shawn Schneider, who died in 2011 after being injured while responding to a domestic violence call.
