School Board OKs lot levy

The Lake City School Board approved the issuance of about $450,000 in bonds primarily to pay for parking, lighting, signage, curbing and electrical at Bluff View Elementary School.

According to a slide presentation from Baker Tilly (formerly Springsted), the district’s financial advisory firm, the work will improve access to Bluff View buildings, meet accessibility requirements and improve drainage at the site.

It is in addition to the $12 million approved by voters for the renovation project under way at Bluff View.
