Lake City Public Schools is publicly thanking the people who officiated high school sports events this fall.

“Special thanks to our local officials for sharing their enjoyment and knowledge of athletics and willingness to help our programs,” Lincoln High School Activities Director Doug Vaith said in a news release. “Officiating takes courage and can oftentimes be a thankless duty. Lake City is truly fortunate to have this fine crew.”
