School math volunteer group is recruiting new members

Math volunteers at Lincoln Junior and Senior High School are recruiting others to help students learn mathematics.

Over the past five years, a new process has been developing at Lake City’s Lincoln Junior-Senior High School to help students who struggle with math. In this new approach the teacher is augmented in the classroom with adult volunteers to increase the adult to student ratio and provide more individual attention to students in need of help.
