School opens Sept. 6 for 1,240 students

Lake City Public Schools will begin classes on Tuesday, Sept. 6.  Bluff View Elementary School is expecting an opening day enrollment of 650 students and Lincoln High School and Junior High School is expecting 590 students.

Teachers will begin making preparations for the upcoming school year by attending workshops that have been scheduled for Aug. 30, Aug. 31, Sept. 1, and Sept. 2.

Any students having had address changes or new phone numbers are asked to notify the appropriate school office immediately.
