School staff recognized with awards, endowed chair
Lake City Public Schools announced the recipients of several awards and grants earlier this month.
The 813 Pride Award is a $500 award from an anonymous donor to recognize extraordinary efforts on the part of a school district employee.
“The donor has been very explicit that this should be used for your personal enjoyment,” Lake City Education Foundation President Mary Gastner said before announcing the recipients.
The winners of the three 813 Pride Awards were Amy Brinkman, Amy Rogness, and Christine Anderson.
