Schools’ Veterans Day events planned for Nov. 10

With Veterans Day, Nov. 11, falling on a Saturday this year, local schools will be holding their Veterans Day programs on Friday, Nov. 10.
St. John’s Lutheran School and Roots to Wings Learning Center invite the community to join them in honoring all veterans at 10 a.m. that day in the school gym at 516 W. Chestnut St.
Lunch will be served following the program. A freewill offering will be collected to help defray the cost of the meal.
