Schools, VFW, and Legion prepare to mark veterans day
Lincoln High School and St. John’s Lutheran School are planning public programs to mark Veterans Day in Lake City on Friday, Nov. 10.
The following evening, the Lake City VFW will mark the holiday with a supper for Lake City VFW and Auxiliary members. Then on Sunday, the Lake City American Legion will host a meal for its members and their spouses.
St. John’s Lutheran School and Roots to Wings Learning Center will present their Veterans Day Program at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Nov. 10, in the school gymnasium at 516 W. Chestnut Street.
