Scouts to collect food

Last Saturday, Nov. 7, Boy Scout Troop 94 and Cub Scout Pack 94 of Lake City, distributed door tags throughout the city.
On Saturday, Nov. 14, the scouts will be collecting food donations for the Lake City Food Shelf.
People are asked to put their donations in a visible location, such as the end of their driveway, or by their mailbox by 9:30 a.m.
The Lake City Food Shelf is in need of the following items: cereal, canned chicken, canned tuna, boxed potatoes, boxed Rice-a-Roni, brown sugar, canned fruit, canned refried beans, canned black beans and microwave popcorn.
