Scouts help restore forgotten cemetery

We stepped into a cornfield to explore a forgotten cemetery. Hidden by the eight-foot tall green corn is a Presbyterian and Methodist cemetery dating back to at least 1862.
Five Lake City Boy Scouts wondered why there was a cemetery way out here and no longer a visible church in the area. They examined the soft broken lime stones leaning, broken, and even in pieces.
