September: Fall is nigh at Frontenac State Park

Now commences September, that month of beautiful light and lengthening shadows, cooler days and longer nights. Along with May, it’s the favorite month of many Minnesotans who cite its heralding of a fresh, dramatic new season. And not surprisingly, it’s one of the most popular months to visit Frontenac State Park.

Here are September events sponsored by the Frontenac State Park Association:

Saturday, Sept. 7, 10-11 a.m.: Nature walk with interpretive naturalist Bruce Ause, leaving from campground kiosk.
