Siewert a finalist for high FFA honor
Blake Siewert, Lake City, has been named one of four finalists for Minnesota FFA Star in Production Placement, according to a news release.
Siewert is a member of the Lincoln High School FFA Chapter.
Siewert, son of Kevin and Kay Siewert, has built his Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) around work at his family’s farm, Hyde Park Holsteins. The 700-cow dairy has provided him with opportunities to gain experience in genetics, nutrition, veterinary practices and forage chopping, exposing him to multiple facets of modern dairy production.
