Siewerts share state parks tour at WLP finale
The 2019 Walking Lake Pepin (WLP) “Park and Walk, Just for the Health of It” themed season ended Aug. 21 with a gathering of walkers on the rooftop at the Villas on Pepin. Thirty WLP participants attended enjoying the weather and a view up and down Lake Pepin.
The evening started with Wally and Gayle Siewert speaking to the WLP group about their journey visiting all the state parks in Minnesota. Though it took them 32 years, they started June 27, 1987 and ended their quest on the same date June 27, 2019.
