Sisters in Crime to discuss importance of female authors

On Saturday, Sept. 8, at 10 a.m., the Lake City Public Library invites the public to a book talk with authors John Gaspard, Christine Husom, Marcie Renden, Barb Deese, Midge Bubany and Timya Owen, members of the Twin Cities Chapter of Sisters in Crime. These authors will discuss aspects of the writing process, including how to put a new twist on an old plot, how to search newspapers and discover exciting plots right in your own neighborhoods.
