Spain to demonstrate authentic British scones at library on Feb. 26
British scones: easy to make, so very tasty, and authentically British!
The Lake City Public Library invites adults ages 16+ to a free baking demonstration class on Thursday, Feb. 26, at 6:30 p.m. where local resident Suzie Spain will teach attendees how to make authentic British scones – nothing like the ones you’ll find in American bakeries.
Attendees will learn how to make them with currants, which are a tradition in England, but other ingredient ideas will be discussed as well.
