A little over 12 years ago Charlie Holter found himself in a predicament.
“I have a little Bobcat business. and every once in a while I’m picking up iron and stuff like that,” he said.
Over time this stockpile grew and grew.
“I thought ‘What am I going to do to all this iron?’ I took it to the scrap yard. I talked to my buddy and said what do you think if I sell this and use the money to buy turkeys for the food shelf?”
It sounded like a good idea, so that’s what they did.
