Sportsman’s Club helps fund school fishing unit

The Lake City Sportsman’s Club recently provided $400 of support to the Lincoln High School physical education department (PE) for purchase of fishing equipment for 10th grade PE students.

According to the PE department, this unit will teach students the basics of fishing, including casting techniques, knot-tying, fish identification, and local conservation efforts.

This support will help the teachers expand upon a successful trial of the unit from last fall, according to the club.
