For St. Mark's, good deeds lead to more good deeds

“Our main thing is to keep it local and make it count,” said Bunny Anding, senior warden of the vestry at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Lake City.

Anding was talking about how the church selects recipients for the money it raises from freewill donations at its monthly free community suppers.

Keeping it local means finding groups that will use the money to benefit people in the Lake City area. Making it count means that as much of the money as possible will be used to help people, not on administrative overhead.
