St. Patrick's to host 'end of life' seminar

“End of life issues from a Catholic perspective,” an adult education seminar, will be Sunday, May 7 at 9 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in West Albany. Everyone is invited.

Deacon Kevin Downie from Catholic United and Reverend Joseph Pete, Pastor of St. Patrick, West Albany and St. Mary of the Lake, Lake City will answer questions about end of life issues, such as:

• Must medical treatment always be continued?

• Are Catholics allowed to have Living Wills?

• What is the church teaching about “death with dignity?”
