Updated: State's first tree trail opens here May 18

A public celebration is planned for Thursday, May 18, at 6 p.m. in Lake City to mark the inauguration of Minnesota’s first official Heritage Tree Trail.

People of all ages are encourated to come, rain or shine, and learn more about the Lake City Heritage Tree Trail. Gather with friends and family and walk with the developer and sponsors of the trail beginning at the site of the cottonwood trees on the Mississippi River shore in Ohuta Park.
