Stop thief

Stop signs are designed to be hard to miss, yet one has gone missing in Wabasha County recently, according to a Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post.

According to Wabasha County Chief Deputy James Warren, the stop sign was taken from the intersection of 690th Street and Wabasha County Road 9 south of Lake City.

“We are offering a $100 reward for information leading to the conviction of the persons involved,” a message attributed to Wabasha County Sheriff Rodney Bartsh said.
