Students from Russian school visit alpaca farm

It came about because of a chance meeting.

Lara Long was riding bike along Lakeview Drive, noticed some alpacas, and decided to drop in and talk to the owner.

Soon she would be back with some 34 children plus chaperones for a tour of the farm.

Long is the assistant principal at Klassika, a Saturday school in Edina teaching the Russian language and all aspects of Russian culture.
