Stuffed, real animals up for adoption at the library Oct. 24

The Lake City Public Library will have lots of stuffed animals that need good homes Oct. 24 from 9:30 a.m. to noon.

Parents can bring their little ones in to the library to adopt a new furry friend. Kids will leave with a new friend, official adoption papers, and can make a new nametag for their pet.

For people in the market for a new family pet, the Hiawatha Animal Humane Society will also be at the library from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. that day with real furry friends that need good homes.
