Suicide prevention workshop focuses on ag communities

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Southeast Minnesota and Zumbro Valley Medical Society are sponsoring safeTALK training workshops for the agricultural communities.

People will learn how to prevent suicide by recognizing signs, engaging someone, and connecting them to an intervention resource for further support, according to a news release.

The training is free but pre-registration is required due to limited seating.

Trainings are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and take place at the following locations:
