Symphony members to join 1st Lutheran choir
The community is invited to a free concert this Sunday, April 10 at First Lutheran Church in Lake City, beginning at 4 p.m.
Members of the Rochester Symphony Orchestra will join the senior choir of First Lutheran in presenting Fauré Requiem Opus 48.
Gabriel Fauré was a French composer, organist, pianist and teacher. He composed the Requiem between 1887 and 1890.
The concert is being sponsored by the fine arts committee at First Lutheran as a tribute to the late Dr. Al Knudsen.
