Teen leaders train as students prepare for new school year

Some Lincoln High School students were in the school gymnasium Aug. 26 for training as members of the school’s Teen Leadership Program.

The trainings take place every year, but this one was a little different due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We had it in the gym so they could socially distance easier,” Lincoln High School Principal Greg Berge said. “We usually have (Teen Leadership Program members) work with the ninth graders at the ninth grade orientation, but we did not have that this year.”
