Tiger volleyball season underway

The Lake City Tiger Volleyball team opened the season on Aug. 21 in Dover-Eyota.
Senior standout Alli Helmin powered the offense with seven kills, while Dylann Porisch added three kills to keep Dover-Eyota’s defense on its heels.
Defensively, Lake City kept rallies alive with quick reactions and sharp positioning. Ava Emerson anchored the back row with 10 digs, while Grace Dose chipped in five digs to help limit Dover Eyota’s scoring chances.Lake City fell 3-0.
