Timm receives sheriff’s association scholarship
Wabasha County Sheriff Rodney Bartsh, on behalf of the Minnesota Sheriff’s Association, presented a scholarship check for $2,000 to Trevor Timm of Wabasha.
Each year the Minnesota Sheriff’s Association gives out scholarships to those going to school for law enforcement.
“We used to give out a lot of smaller checks but in the last 4-5 years we have had less people going into law enforcement across the state. We are hoping that the trend will change. Thank you Trevor for stepping up to enter our profession,” Bartsh said.
