Toastmasters meet in Plainview

The Plain-Ly Speaking Toastmasters met on Tuesday, Oct. 13, at St. Joachim’s School in Plainview.
The theme of the meeting was “Harvest Time.” Acting as toastmaster for the evening, Rose Evers, described this time of year as marking the end of the growing season and reaping the fruits of labor. Recalling her days of growing up on a nearby farm, Rose shared her memories of driving tractors and trucks to help bring in the crops.
