Tonight I was scammed

I received a text message on my cell phone from someone I thought was my step son.

I was asked to get a $500 gift card and to take pictures of it, front and back.

I feared that something terrible had happened since there has been some health issues in the family.

I went to the grocery store and they only had gift cards for their store.

I went to Kwik Trip and asked them and was told that they had cards but they could not be bought with a credit card. The amount requested was $500. I don’t have that kind of money laying around.
