Torch: Following the trends of the past

History tends to repeat itself, the saying definitely holds true in the fashion world.  At Lincoln High, students are following the new trends and the old.

“Casual clothing, such as crocs, yoga pants, uggs, and sweatshirts are in,” said Jim Heise, history teacher at Lincoln.

As unique as personal style may be at Lincoln, chances are, people today aren’t the first to wear these items.  These styles and trends have repeated themselves from the past.  Clothing history can go on forever and certain styles may be unappealing.
