“I want to get students excited about music.”
Ever since she enjoyed singing as a child, Carey Kopp has always known she would become a choir teacher.
Ms. Kopp has been teaching Junior, Cadet, and Concert choir at Lincoln High School for 17 years. Her students range from seventh graders to seniors. These students learn various pieces of music throughout the year and demonstrate their skills at three concerts.
Building a solid and close relationship with her students has always been important to Ms. Kopp.
