Trap shooting coaches speak to Kiwanis Club
Lake City Kiwanis member Dean Flugstad welcomed the Lincoln High School trap shooting team coaches Ross Freiheit and Kyle Muenkel to talk about this sport that has the most boys and girls participating than any other sport in Minnesota, some 50,000 students.
Head coach Ross is turning over his position to Kyle and four other coaches to guide the fall and spring competitions with up 45 participants shooting. Safety comes first so students are required to take gun safety training and wear protective ear and eye wear in order to carry a shotgun.
