Update: Holland benefit postponed, school canceled for funeral Tuesday, March 17

A benefit for the late Lake City High School band teacher Paul Holland and his family planned Sunday, March 15, has been postponed. Organizers announced the decision on the "Marching On For Paul" Facebook page Thursday, March 12.
When the benefit was announced a few weeks ago, Holland was undergoing treatment for stomach cancer. Holland died Wednesday, March 11, at age 57. His obituary can be found here.
Lake City Public Schools will be closed for his funeral on March 17. The funeral begins at 11 a.m. at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake City.
