Veterans Empowered distributes over 6,000 books to area veterans
In the past 12 months we have distributed the entire first edition of our “Veterans in Crisis” series of books on PTSD - over 6,000 copies of Volumes I and II were given away free to disabled veterans in southern Minnesota. And in our Rochester clinical office we have provided over 1,000 hours of free PTSD sessions to disabled veterans and first responders with PTSD.
In the process we estimate at least twelve lives have been saved. Lake City’s VFW has taken the lead in generously supporting our efforts to prevent veteran suicide.
