Veterans Plaza to be Shared by All

A couple of years ago Barney Freese stared out the window of his Lake City Care Center room and had an idea.
He could see the adjoining Mayo Clinic Health System Lake City hospital across the way. To his left he could see the construction site that would become The Bluffs of Lake City assisted care facility.
Wouldn’t it be nice if the bright triangle of space surrounded by the three facilities could be turned into a little park and picnic area for everyone to use?
