VFW and Auxiliary donate $2,000 to robotics team
Lake City VFW Post 8729 and its Auxiliary recently presented $2,000 to Lake City Public Schools Robotics Team 2861, Infinity’s End.
The team will be competing in Duluth from Feb. 28 through March 2.
The Robotics team is made up of 19 students and 7 coaches and mentors.
“We support the advancement of STEM education and development of motivated students in teamwork, problem solving and leadership. We wish them the best in their upcoming competition,” the VFW and Auxiliary said in a news release.
