VFW Auxiliary ‘Ways to Show Patriotism’ contest winners
Over 130 Bluff View Elementary School students entered patriotic contests on the theme “Ways to Show Patriotism” organized by VFW Auxliary 8729 of Lake City.
First and second grade students colored a picture of the American flag. First place and a $10 prize went to Aubrey Briggs. Second place and a $5 prize went to Ava Olson, and third place and a $5 prize went to Naydel Sanchez-Gonzalez.
Third grade students created a poster with the theme “Ways to Show Patriotism.”
