Vietnam vet Larry Foster finds Lake City reads pick moving, if not enjoyable

A local veteran had a strong reaction to this year’s Lake City Reads book selection, “All Quiet on the Western Front.”
The book tells the story of a group of teenagers who experienced the horrors of trench warfare and the terrors and privatation they endured during World War I.
Larry Foster of Lake City is a retired U.S. Air Force pilot.
