Volunteer beach clean-up continues May 5, 11

A group of volunteers worked on Saturday, April 27 to clean up driftwood from the Ohuta Park Area.

There are still two more dates to get involved and lots of work to be done, according to the Lake City Chamber of Commerce.

The first date is Sunday, May 5, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and the second date is Saturday, May 11, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Volunteers are recommended to wear gloves and bring along a rake, shovel, or wheelbarrow if they have one.

All ages are welcome to help with parental supervision.
