Volunteers sought for city’s planning and historic preservation commissions

The City of Lake City is calling on community members to help shape the city’s future by volunteering for one of two important boards: the Planning Advisory Commission and the Heritage Preservation Commission.

Both commissions play a vital role in guiding responsible development, protecting community character, and ensuring that Lake City remains a vibrant, welcoming place to live and work. There are currently two vacancies on the Planning Advisory Commission and three vacancies on the Heritage Preservation Commission.
