Wabasha County to use impound lot fees for squad cars

The Wabasha County Board voted 3-2 to allow the Sheriff’s Office to designate excess impound lot income to purchase squad cars and other vehicle-related expenses at its March 21 meeting.

All commissioners were present, along with County Administrator Michael Plante and County Attorney Karrie Kelly.

The impound lot had been created by board action in 2009 for upkeep.
