Wabasha field day features silvopasture, adaptive grazing

The Sustainable Farming Association (SFA) will hold a Silvopasture and Oak Savanna Restoration Field Day on Tuesday, Aug. 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tangled Bank Farm in Wabasha.

The event will feature a follow-up on Tom Hunter’s one-acre site where restoration work continues from a field day two years prior. Hunter has expanded his oak savanna restoration efforts since then. Silvopasture and adaptive grazing will be part of the discussion.
