The Walking Lake Pepin (WLP) group walkers enjoyed a beautiful evening last Wednesday as they hiked in Frontenac State Park to the edge of Rattlesnake Bluff. Rattlesnake Bluff and the cliff edge can be seen 400 feet above Grotes Pond along Highway 61 just southeast of Wacouta. The hike began under cloudy skies but the sun came out as the hikers reached the bluff’s edge and they were able to enjoy a panoramic view of the Mississippi River Valley.
