Walkers visit Long Point, plan Jewell walk

Wednesday, June 23, 15 walkers met for Walking Lake Pepin’s (WLP) weekly group walk.

The trail was well groomed with little annoyance from bugs. Once reaching the beach at Long Point low water levels were noted due to the lack of rain. Though it was hot and humid, the Sand Point Trail remains one of WLP’s favorite hikes.
