Walkers were given a tour of old Methodist Campus site

The final group walk of the Walking Lake Pepin season took place Aug. 5 in Old Frontenac at the site of the former Lakeside Hotel and the Methodist Church summer camp campus. The Lakeside Hotel was a renovated warehouse offering guests a lake view hard to beat, opening in 1868. Over the years, the structure transformed into an inn, and eventually, a Methodist camp for kids to enjoy in the summer.
