Walking group explores Miller Creek

Walking Lake Pepin (WLP) participants enjoyed a leisurely walk along Miller Creek last Wednesday, June 30. Miller Creek and it’s adjacent shoreline runs east to west through the south end of Lake City emptying into Lake Pepin near the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) headquarters on South Oak Street.

Miller Creek is part of a DNR aquatic management area that provides angler and management access, protects critical shoreland habitat and provides areas for education and research.
