Walking Lake Pepin announces 2026 theme: ‘Freedom to Walk’
The 2026 theme for Walking Lake Pepin (WLP) is “Freedom to Walk.” As the United States looks forward to celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, WLP will join in the celebration.
As citizens we have many freedoms that we may often take for granted. “Freedom to Walk” may not be a freedom that comes to mind. It does however remind us that we have a country where there are many opportunities to walk and environments to walk in.
