Water Ski Days crowds prove resilient

Cooler weather and a rain shower or two didn’t seem to have a measurable impact on enthusiasm or attendance at Water Ski Days events over the weekend.

Michelle Larson is the executive director of the Lake City Chamber of Commerce, which oversees the three-day event.

“Overall it was good,” she said. “We got a lot of positive comments on the beer tent layout.”

The new configuration allowed Lake Pepin to serve as a backdrop for performances on the stage.
